Fair and Market Days is a shopping support project that aims to accompany and help anyone who needs it with everyday tasks such as going to the market or carrying shopping home, while also encouraging community participation and supportive relationships in neighbourhoods. The service is currently provided in different markets and community resources, such as the Inca Market, Santa Catalina Market and Pere Garau, the Foners neighbourhood from Casal Joan Alcover, the Pere Garau neighbourhood from Club Social Chaplin, and the Camp d’en Serralta and Es Fortí neighbourhoods from Club Social Els Molins.

Through this initiative, people with support needs actively take part by offering accompaniment and support to the community, developing meaningful activities and creating bonds, collaboration networks and shared benefits for the whole neighbourhood.

Selling Esment products to open markets

Beyond this new activity, the Fira i Mercat Days project also includes the presence of the entity at the fairs and open markets that are organised in Inca. An activity designed to give meaningful employment to people with support needs and at the same time, to be able to offer the organic and local products that are made by the entity. The stall will be on Thursdays at the Inca market, with a stall designed by the people of the Esment Inca employment area, the result of a collaboration project with Camper.
