Description:

The museum is located inside a flour mill declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. There we will learn about their operation, the tradition of mills in the Balearic Islands, the different types of mills we can find throughout the territory, and the origin of the Jonquet neighborhood.

For the little ones, we offer a more participatory experience through a dynamic audiovisual story to learn about different mills in Mallorca through the tale of Catalina and her donkey Jaumet.

This activity is made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Association of Friends of Mills of Mallorca.

We advise you to wear comfortable clothes and sports shoes as the tour is done on foot. If you have any type of mobility problem, let the team know before the visit.

Audience: for all audiences.

Explanation-story / Audiovisual story: 30 minutes approx. / 25 minutes approx.

The times are approximate and always depend on the questions asked, the fluidity of the explanations, the displacements, etc…
